COUNTER DRAIN POINTING DOORS’ REFURBISHMENT – SEPTEMBER 2023

The Board have recently completed the refurbishment of the timber pointing doors which sit at the end of Counter Drain, Pode Hole.

 

These doors serve an essential land drainage function and allow the effective running of Pode Hole Diesel Pumping Station.

 

 

 

Martin Childs Ltd carried out this specialist work which included re-planking of the hardwood, repairs to the support beams and cleaning of the quoin liners.

 

 

 

 

 

The whole programme of works was completed in ten days.
